Norris won the race from 1st on the grid, 3.131s ahead of Leclerc. Bearman was the standout mover, climbing from 20th to 12th. Tsunoda lost the most ground, from 12th on the grid down to 17th (down 5 places). A virtual safety car (VSC) period was in effect on laps 2-4.
