Race summary

Hamilton won the race from 3rd on the grid, 2.980s ahead of Bottas. Gasly was the standout mover, climbing from 13th to 8th. Magnussen lost the most ground, from 6th on the grid down to 13th (down 7 places). The safety car was deployed on laps 55-57. The winner made 2 pit stops: on lap 13 (soft → soft), on lap 34 (soft → medium). The fastest pit stop went to Verstappen (Red Bull) on lap 11, with 24.1s pit lane time. Leclerc set the fastest lap, in 1:33.411.
