He joined Red Bull's junior team in 2021 at just 13, and his 2025 win in Jeddah made him Formula 2's youngest-ever race winner at 17 years and 254 days old. Being under the usual age threshold, he was granted an FIA Super Licence under special dispensation, comparable to the exception made for Kimi Antonelli in 2024. In 2025 he sat in for Red Bull Racing free practice sessions at the British and Mexico City Grands Prix, before signing with Racing Bulls that December to partner Liam Lawson. He made his F1 debut at the 2026 Australian Grand Prix aged 18, the fourth-youngest driver in the sport's history and, surpassing Oliver Bearman, the youngest-ever British F1 driver. His helmet carries the Indian tricolour alongside the English and Swedish flags, and Indian fans have counted him as their only F1 link since Narain Karthikeyan's 2012 retirement. Arvid Lindblad has been racing in Formula 1 since 2026 as a British driver. He scored a total of 31 championship points over his career. His best season was 2026, when he finished 11th in the championship with 31 points.
