The Orionids meteor shower peaks on 21 October 2026 around 18:27 UTC. Under dark skies and ideal conditions up to ~20 meteors per hour can be seen (ZHR). The radiant, the point in the sky the meteors seem to come from, is at about 6.3 hours right ascension and 16° declination.

In the page's interactive 3D model the time machine jumps to this moment (21 October 2026) and the camera takes the view that fits the event: a sky view from the visitor's city or Budapest. You can freely scrub time forwards and backwards.
Meteor shower peaks are computed from the Sun’s ecliptic longitude, based on the IMO meteor calendar.
