Race summary

Victory went to Hamilton (from 1st on the grid), with a 11.8s margin. Sainz made the biggest gain, from 15th on the grid to 8th (up 7 places). Tsunoda had a difficult race, dropping from 8th to 14th. The safety car was deployed on laps 10-12. A virtual safety car (VSC) period was in effect on laps 23-24 and on laps 27-33 and on lap 36. The race was stopped with a red flag on laps 13-16.
