Race summary

Bottas won the race from 1st on the grid, 1.524s ahead of Hamilton. Giovinazzi was the standout mover, climbing from 17th to 12th. Pérez lost the most ground, from 5th on the grid down to 6th (down 1 place). A virtual safety car (VSC) period was in effect on laps 40-41. The winner made one pit stop: on lap 12 (soft → medium). The fastest pit stop went to Kubica (Williams) on lap 14, with 15.0s pit lane time. Leclerc set the fastest lap, in 1:43.009.
