Bottas won the race from 3rd on the grid, 13.3s ahead of Vettel. Pérez was the standout mover, climbing from 17th to 8th. Leclerc lost the most ground, from 2nd on the grid down to 6th (down 4 places). The winner made 2 pit stops: on lap 17 (soft → medium), on lap 36 (medium → soft). The fastest pit stop went to Pérez (Racing Point) on lap 19, with 22.8s pit lane time. Hamilton set the fastest lap, in 1:30.983.
