At the 2024 Australian Grand Prix he withdrew so teammate Albon could use his chassis after a practice crash, calling it the hardest moment of his career. That same year a heavy practice crash at the Dutch Grand Prix was followed two days later by Williams releasing him, with Formula 2 driver Franco Colapinto taking his seat. After leaving F1 he tested an IndyCar and in 2025 returned to racing in the LMP2 class of the IMSA SportsCar Championship. Logan Sargeant made his Formula 1 debut in 2023 and raced until 2024, 2 seasons in total as an American driver. He scored a total of 1 championship point over his career. His best season was 2023, when he finished 21st in the championship with 1 points.
