Since 2022, the Miami International Autodrome has run through the parking lots and access roads around Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins, an entirely temporary circuit assembled for each race weekend and dismantled afterward. Its marina section floats real yachts on an artificial, ripple-textured surface because there is no actual waterfront on site, a 'dry marina' that quickly became an internet joke; the section drew inspiration from Monaco's harbour but was built much wider, with overtaking in mind. The layout was designed by Apex Circuit Design, Formula 1's own in-house circuit design studio, which reportedly sketched around 75 possible configurations and ran full simulations on 36 of them. The project faced years of local opposition: Miami Gardens commissioners initially rejected the plan, only reversing course in April 2021; the first race followed barely eight months later, in May 2022. Unlike classic street circuits, the track runs mostly on the stadium's own private roads and parking areas, only crossing a handful of genuine public streets. The Miami Grand Prix contract was extended through 2041 in May 2025, a sign the venue became a permanent fixture on the calendar despite its rocky start. You'll find it in Miami, United States. On the calendar since 2022, this circuit has hosted 5 races, the latest in 2026. Max Verstappen took the inaugural win here in 2022. Andrea Kimi Antonelli won here most recently, in 2026. The most successful driver at this circuit is Max Verstappen, with 2 wins. Red Bull is the dominant constructor at this circuit, with 2 wins. Max Verstappen set the fastest lap here, 1:29.708 (Red Bull, 2023). The highest speed measured over a race weekend here was 350 km/h.
