We don't have our own real GPS-telemetry-based 3D model for this circuit (typically a pre-2023 or discontinued venue). The outline below is a freely usable, hand-drawn circuit diagram. This layout was in use during: 1985-1995.Circuit diagram: ROY Jules (julesr0y) (CC BY 4.0). source & licenseOther known layouts at this circuit: 1985-1995At the 1994 season-ending Australian Grand Prix, with Michael Schumacher leading Damon Hill by a single point, the two collided after Schumacher clipped a wall and rejoined ahead of Hill; both retired, but Schumacher kept the title. Adelaide's street circuit closed out the season every year from 1985 to 1995, and the local crowd famously turned the finale into a season-long party. The 1985 inaugural race was Australia's first-ever Formula 1 World Championship round and the country's first street race, won by Keke Rosberg. The 1986 finale was a dramatic three-way title fight between Mansell, Prost and Piquet; leading the standings and needing only third place, Mansell's rear tyre exploded at around 290 km/h, handing the title to Prost, who crossed the line running almost out of fuel. The 1994 race itself was won by Nigel Mansell in his comeback drive for Williams after a season in American CART; at 41, he became the oldest Grand Prix winner since Jack Brabham in 1970, and it was his final Formula 1 victory. The circuit's first corner was renamed the Senna Chicane that same year, in tribute to Ayrton Senna, who died in 1994. You'll find it in Adelaide, Australia. On the calendar since 1985, this circuit has hosted 11 races, the latest in 1995. Keke Rosberg took the inaugural win here in 1985. Damon Hill won here most recently, in 1995. The most successful driver at this circuit is Alain Prost, with 2 wins. McLaren is the dominant constructor at this circuit, with 5 wins.
